Izuku Midoriya desperately wants to be a hero, but he is one of the few in his generation born without a Quirk. Will meeting All Might, the greatest hero of all time, change his fate?
Katsuki is a confident bully, unafraid to speak his mind and pick fights with people he dislikes. He grew up in a rough,[ch. 20] unloving household, with the only person who cared for him being his childhood friend Izuku Midoriya; after supposedly being passed over by All Might because he lacked a Quirk when he was younger, Katsuki grew arrogant and vengeful, blaming Izuku and everyone around him for his plight. After inheriting the Quirk Explosion from All Might two years prior to the series' beginning,[ch. 1] Katsuki clings to unrealistic dreams of greatness while constantly berating himself and others for any perceived flaws or failures on their part.[ch. 2] Kota thinks of him as a "villain", which is something he has been trying to prove wrong throughout the series. Deep down, however, Katsuki maintains a strong sense of camaraderie with his classmates and strives to take his place among All Might's legacy.
